Project Summary
I am working on an Efika-based MythTV front-end as listed at http://projects.powerdeveloper.org/projects.php?project=175. The XGI Volari V3XT would work extremely well for this project as it provides a hardware MPEG2 decoder, which when coupled with a backend using a Hauppauge PVR card, would easily provide playback. As well, the multitude of outputs (Composite, S-Video, Component, DVI) on this card provides many options to connect to various TVs.Additionally, since a future model of the Efika may include the V3XE chipset on board, it would make a perfect single-board front-end.
