Project Proposal
This project will use the low powered XGI Volari graphic card and Efika hardware to build an embedded solution based on Gentoo GNU/Linux designed to do 3D GIS (Geographic Information System) navigation and video decoding.This solution could be connected to a 7\" touchscreen with high resolution to display and control multimedia applications on the road and to your HD TV at home where controling would be achieved using some IRDA device.
The result would be a disk image to unpack on the Efika storage device.
