Project Proposal
The Linux Kernel currently has very little in the way of assembly optimizations for the PowerPC while the i386 platform has plenty. I would like to work on that direction as I am involved in embedded development on PPC\'s.I have experience in Kernel development and a little experience in i386 assembly.
As a side effect of having a PPC machine I will also be able to contribute to the Debian work on PPC as I am also a Debian Developer.
