Project Proposal
As the current stage and LiveCD builder for Hardened Gentoo a powerful ppc64 box would be extremely useful.Having direct access to such a box would prove to be invaluable as stages for both ppc64 and ppc could be build rapidly and thoroughly tested.
It would also be nice to port the current Hardened LiveCD to as many platforms as possible as it has proved to be an excellent technology preview and recovery disc.
A ppc64 is optimal as I can build a complete linux32 chroot and simultaneously work in both linux64 and linux32. Kernel level functions would be easily tested by dual booting between the linux64 root and the linux32 chroot.
An incidental use would be as a build host for the EFIKA, my aging Athlon 2000+ is feeling a little tired :)
