Project Proposal
I am a Gentoo developer and author of a minimalist GNU/Linux distribution called Bluewall.My main project would be to improve software and operating system support for the PPC64 platform on Gentoo and also porting Bluewall to it too, doing the following:
- Porting and testing Gentoo PPC64 packages.
- Helping the release engineering team of Gentoo PPC64.
- Porting the whole Bluewall distribution to PPC64.
- Designing applications for both distros on PPC64.
There is practically no support for this kind of platform on Gentoo and well, much less for bluewall, it\'d be a big step to get these projects working on this platform.
Im also very interested to design distribuited solutions that could help to interact with different free software projects, like for example, remote applications to help working with operating systems projects, and the OSW would be a perfect place to play with this.
