Project Proposal
The capable 4-core machine shall be demonstrated and used as1) Server hosting the German PPCNUX non-profit organization website
2) Development system to foster 64Bit program compatibility in combination with Genesi\'s unique OF/HAL
3) Offer further services like free computing time to the PPC and Linux community
These different duties are to be realized with a single machine and the help of virtualization/partitioning.
A PPCNUX Team member was among the winners of IBM\'s 2005 Linux on POWER 64Bit challenge.
