Application: Mobile Support Tool PlatformSummary
The aim of this project is to combine several existing technologies to create a lightweight Mobile Support Tool Platform.
Background
The majority of the support in big companies have a lot of supportpersonnel that need to support their customers on the spot. There are several solutions to this, however none of the solutions that I have seen meet my requirements.
The most common method of support is that you have a \"Dispatcher\" handing out incoming support requests, keeping a contact with support personnel on the field phonewise.
There are several other methods that consist of network handheld connected devices to recieve and close Service Requests.
What these desribed exemplary methods have in common is that you lack a cheap but mostly a lightweight computer to use to furhter narrow down the source of the problem and resolve it.
Above methods take more time and involve more people than neccessary to solve a simple problem.
My project would provide companies with means of a cost and cutting edge technology if I recieve a ODW.

- Low power consumption
- Low price vs high performance ratio
- Improved efficiency, productivity and workflow

or maybe this keyboard
Together with a open source linux distribution, these common available tools could create a suitable support platform. It would also be usable for a number of other areas also.
The imagination is the only limitation.
