Project Proposal
The aim is to port and optimize the open source projects maintained by the Xiph.org Foundation, http://www.xiph.org/, specially the audio ones, enabling the Open Desktop Workstation to be a complete open source based media platform.The port and optimization will begin by the project I\'m currently working on, the Speex library, and then will be expanded to the other libraries. We hope to have as many of the libraries as possible ported to the PPC processors with Altivec optimizations.
