Project Proposal
The machine is intened to put to use for the following tasks:- Testing packages for the stable tree
- Testing cd images for new releases
- Testing the hardened toolchain and kernel
- Performing tests at the request of other gentoo projects/developers
These tasks are currently performed with a B&W G3 and a Mac Mini G4. A pegasos machine would be a nice addition that would allow testing on a wider range of PPC hardware. And some extra processing capacity for compiling packages wouldn\'t hurt either.
