Project Proposal
GoboLinux is a Linux distribution which adopts an innovative modular design, with Embedded editions for ARM and SH4, and a Workstation edition for x86 systems. There is ongoing work for a PPC Workstation editon (originally aimed at Apple hardware, prior to their x86 switch). PPC development on GoboLinux currently takes place on a single Apple laptop, a far from ideal environment (for example, not always available to developers via ssh). We\'d like to direct our focus to the ODW as the primary target to the PPC Workstation edition of GoboLinux, using it as a development environment and making sure the LiveCD boots and recognizes all available hardware properly.Project Blog Entries
