Project Proposal
- Compilation of PPC/Linux bussines and design apps and comparison with Windows counterparts: benefits and drawbacks.- Cross-compatibility and how to make bussines data (databases, spreadsheets, documents, etc.) available to other systems, mainly Windows, but not excluding other OSs.
- Health benefits of a silent computer in an office environment.
- Financial impact of PPC/Linux vs x86/Windows: initial costs, apps, maintenance, power saving, adaptation of the physical place (the office) to different systems, etc.
