Project Proposal
Testing/fixing that MythTv is always compiling for PPC architecture by setting up automatic overnight sync/build system.Phase 1:
- Setting up a build system to sync to most recent MythTv, lircd, xml_tv + other MythTv related software. Build these under predefined conditions.
Phase 2:
- Do automatic overnight system integration tests to confirm that builds is actually working. I.e. starting up MythTv, inputting keys and getting screen dumps. Comparing screen dumps to correct screen dumps.
Phase 3:
- Adding more configuration options to get more extensive testing of software. More plug ins.
Goal:
- Making sure MythTv is working with multiple types of plug ins.
If successful, continue to verify other open source projects while extracting a regression test framework for synching/building/testing software.
