Project Proposal
Xen virtual machine monitor is a leading (para-)virtualization technology with low performance overhead.Virtualization has many benefits on many layers, such as the virtualization used by Genesi in the OpenFirmware on Pegasos.
Xen can securely run multiple VMs, each running its own OS ( current list of OS\'s ported) on a single physical system with close-to-native performance.
Xen support is stable on the x86 arch but PPC is still under development.
The goal of this project is to continue the development, documentation and testing of Xen on the PPC architecture using the ODW.
