Project Proposal
Since I'm fond of the new Gnome 3 desktop environment and think it should be able to run pretty well on the Efika, I would like to try port / build te Gnome 3 desktop on the Efika.We should be able to get full 2D acceleration with this desktop and maybe even OpenGL support out of it (depending on the xorg display driver).
One major plus with this system is it's cleanliness and fast task switching abilities. The menus are a bit based on the apple finder, which I like much, no menu cluttering.
