Project Summary
The idea I have is for a network based volume license server. Essentially a network based \'dongle\' for copy protection and volume license management. The EFIKA would be attached to the network and limit the number of concurrent users of the software to the number of licensed users. It could also prevent or permit access to the software based on IP address, password protection, and/or time and date. The software itself could even be stored on the EFIKA and loaded on the target machine either at runtime, or when changes are detected, making software updates just a matter of updating the code on the EFIKA instead of on every machine on which the program(s) are to run.

The EFIKA could also generate usage logs to keep track of who used the software, and when, and for how long, and how many people used it concurrently, etc.

Benefits :

- No more lost or broken or stolen dongle keys.

- Almost instant, automatic software updates.

- Excellent copy-protection and volume license management.
