Project Summary
If I was selected to get one of those test machines I would use it as a Gentoo PPC system, and would install it in my CS departmente where students would get accounts in it and use in courses where they learn RISC ASM (DLX) but only have simulators to test their skills.This way the machine(s) would be used not only in helping the gentoo ppc comunity but would get attention from bright minds that could come up with new uses for it.

FedEx just dropped me the package. And I dropped them 82.18€ for customs services!!
I already have a 256MB usb pen with a striped down Gentoo Stage3. As soon as I find my usb keyboard I'll give it a try.

I am very happy with the news of having my project approved. My info is updated so it is possible to have the machine(s) sent to me so that i can start working.
I already talked with one teacher that is giving the Computer Architecture course and he is very excited with the prospect of having these machines available for the students to use.
We had an informal talk and think that at last two machines would be the best.
Now it is the wait period :)
