Project Summary
Perhaps it is a very common project, but in my opinion is a very interesting idea.
Enclosing an EFIKA board inside a cassete deck, having the standard outputs for a car (some amplification might be required), and a monitoring video output. Even the remote for the steering wheel could be done using the USB ports.
About the software, I would love using MorphOS, and one important point for this decision, is that you can always turn the computer off at any time. A linux based operative system, would be very highweight, so MOS would suit better.
Dreaming awake, we can even plan a USB specific tool, with which we can monitor some of the car levels and gauges.

Hi all!
It seems MorphOS is coming home for... st. valentine's day? xD well, never mind. It's coming for Efika, and that's good.
By now, I have the Efika nicely fitted into a Tente made case, waiting for a nice OS... I don't like linux, and our relation has not improved while installing it into the Efika.
Here you can see the new case. By now, it doesn't have much to see with the proyected car audio case, but well... the size is more or less the same xD.
