Project Summary
We are beginning a project to build an Autonomous Underwater Vehicle, capable of independent operation. Consequently we require a small but powerful computer to provide system control. For the initial stages of the project an ethernet connection is required for communication, and USB is required for operation of a camera. The efikas serial and CAN ports would be advantageous for connecting sensors, and motor control hardware. The university sees many commercial applications for this submarine, and has already received interest from the marine industry.Project Blog Entries
