Project Summary
Most if not all currently available video cards consume a considerable amount of power (30+ watts) and contain a great deal of functionality (i.e. 3D accelerator, full VGA compatibility) that is not needed in most embedded applications.My idea is to create a simple, low-power, PCI video card in a FPGA that would have support for the basic required features to be used for Linux and/or MorphOS.
