Gentopia Usage (Gentoo)

Project Summary
I am not sure exactly how to title or area this, but I would like to receive one of these machines so that I can work on our Gentopia projects on the PPC platform in Linux. I know that we have PPC users, but it is hard to replicate some of their problems, when all I have is an x86 machine. I am interested in the embedded area of Gentoo as well, but my main focus is on networking and Gentopia (the mantra of "It just works" on Gentoo Linux)

Thank you for your time, and consideration.

So, some other Gentoo developers have already gotten their Efika's, I still haven't heard anything - this isn't a complaint, I am just getting jealous :) Hopefully I will hear something soon!

So, There is new news, and I am not sure if I need to change up my application. I really hope to get an Efika though, mainly for the Gentopia project. It is a project for Gentoo, in which we try to get the desktop Linux of Gentoo to simply, Just Work(tm) - we want to see Gentoo proliferate and would like to see people having to do less work to get things done - Many people want Gentoo for the simplicity, and control of what exactly goes on the machine. And the advantage of having an Efika to work on this for the PPC platform, to me, would be invaluable. Thanks for reading. Hoping to post more soon.

While I am waiting for the Efika to arrive, I have been reading the forums, and I must say that I am getting very excited about the plans that Genesi has for the Efika. I have never owned a PPC machine before, so the learning experience is going to be welcome. I actually have additional plans for this machine that I plan on testing, but I was afraid to submit a second request for a machine. I guess I didn't want to seem greedy. We will see what happens whenever it arrives.
