Project Summary
As the listed maintainer for MPC5200 related bits in thekernel 2.6, I\'ll make sure the support for the 5200 gets
merged in the \"official\" kernel.
The current 2.6 support is using the arch/ppc. The transition
to the arch/powerpc has been initiated by Nicolas DET and is
being followed mainly by Grant Likely and myself.
The current state of the merge can be followed in Grant\'s git tree and mine (we\'re working concurrently, often merging our work) :

Beside the merge, there is of course the support for all that\'s not currently supported.
Having a different platform to test would ensure each release is tested on this platform. Especially important here since the firmware of the board is different from u-boot which is
the bootloader used by us on the lite5200.
