The project of porting protected operation system MSVS version 3.0, based under Linux RedHat 6.2 is frozen!!!

In the end of 2006 year the project of porting the given operation system to powerpc architecture has been offered to a command of developers of operation system MSVS. After the given project has been approved in community powerdeveloper, as a base hardware platform has been chosen Efika. In the beginning of 2007, after I have received Efika, to me source codes and the documentation of software developer have been given all to operation system MSVS for the further work. In current of next four months of work above the given project the certain results in porting operational system MSVS have been reached. By means of cross compilation the most part of software packages has been adapted for powerpc architecture. In the beginning of April there has been begun work above adaptation of a kernel of operational system. The subsequent plans included also development of the loader, but unfortunately, on the certain circumstances, start continuation of work above the given project I could only in more than in half a year. It has appeared, that almost all results of several months of hard work were irrevocable are lost, there were only records on a paper of algorithms of work of operational system and a kernel, and also some part of the software packages adapted under powerpc architecture. For today I wish to concentrate all the forces and a free time to my two other projects for Efika - № 318 and № 325.

In the further, аt presence of enough of a free time, the further work above porting protected operation system MSVS version 3.0, based under Linux RedHat 6.2 is possible.
