Project Summary
A consumer audio digital effect box. Audio in, some signal processing, audio out. Control effects via a keypad, MIDI or connect it to you LAN and set everything up via a web browser on your laptop. (EFIKA, a little bit of memory, a flash/HD drive, MorphOS, a numeric key pad and a MIDI connector.)Project Blog Entries
I've finally got myself a PSU, graphics card and a ATA/CF adapter for the EFIKA board.
All I need now is an OS. And a case? :-)
OK, the project is approved and I'm waiting for the hardware.
The idea is a MorphOS-based device running AHI v7, which will handle the pluggable low-latency effects, controlled by a tiny web/MIDI server process.
Apart from the optional MIDI interface and keypad, no extra hardware should be required.
