Project Summary
Hardware development for desired I/O capabilities needed within a graphical environment to allow program interaction and exchange of data between multiple devices over a network. Devices will be able to update the central control with operational capabilities and allow for reasonable real time update of information.Currently have a proof of concept working with an 860 PowerPC setup and using Windows as the host/programming environment. Would port this to Linux and all running on the 5200.
Note the editorial in the April 2006 issue of EEPN on no central controller... along the lines of what a device like this could provide.
