Project Summary
I have an idea for EFIKA. It would be a camera securitysystem with 4 webcams. The PCI card with 4 camera inputs allready exists here:

, there are specificated system requirements (P4 1.8GHz), I think that it is too much for such a card.
It could be connected with a low price cameras like these:

A driver and software allready exists for linux, and if this software isn\'t enough, I will find somebody in my neigbourhood who can write a driver and a control program.
I want it to be a low cost security camera system for people, schools and maybe small companies. (and for me of course if I start to build)
My idea is, that if I start building a house in the future, I\'d like to have security cameras around the building - in the front of a house within the doors, in the back of a house within the backdoors, a look in a garden, a look at an entrance of cellar.
