Project Summary
My project is pretty simple and well-established. Basically, I am the lead for Gentoo Linux's Release Engineering project. The project's goals are to build Gentoo Linux releases and also the tools responsible for facilitating these builds. This includes the in-house catalyst and genkernel tools used to create the CD images/stages and kernels. Having access to PPC hardware will assist in troubleshooting as I will no longer have to roll new releases of these tools simply to get bugs/features tested/verified/resolved. I am also working toward a single LiveCD interface for all architectures under Gentoo, to make building these CD images for Gentoo Linux easier.Project Blog Entries
