Project Summary
At the OSL, we currently use an ODW to host a webcam showing the progress of our new machine room remodel. This can be seen at prettyboy.osuosl.org. The box goes one step further in that it generates time-lapse videos every day (can be seen here), which is something that standard webcams with embedded servers do not do.Given the location of our webcam (hanging from a ceiling), a smaller form factor would be great, as it may be for other people using an Efika for a similar application as well. With that, we would like to migrate prettyboy to an Efika system, documenting our procedures and experience.
