Project Summary
You travel and have to lug around your laptop - because being out of touch is not an option for a technokrat. You have to lug your laptop everywhere you go; leave it lying around unattended for 10 minutes (or less) and you've lost it! :(

So how about if the hotel you stay in lists an EFIKA as a standard room option - available as as reasonable addon to your hotel bill. You'd have the choice of being able to boot up your favorite OS - in my case that would be OpenSolaris. The hotel would guarantee that the "rented" EFIKA would be wiped clean when you leave the Hotel.

Most people just need email and a web browser. However, taking your data on a USB thumb drive would also be an option.

As a sweetner to the deal, the hotel could cache the popular Linux distributions and GNU tools (and, of course, OpenSolaris), so that if you needed to load up a popular tool, it would be loaded at 100mBits/Sec over the hotel LAN saving you a bunch of time and saving the hotel a bunch of Internet bandwidth.

Fast, Cheap, Convient - pick any three! :)
