Project Summary
This project will aim at - WOrk on kernel porting of linux for multimedia applications based on the platform
- Porting and optimise a Multimedia Application development framework like Gstreamer onto the platform
- Develop a Network enabled DVD player based on the ported framework. Other applications to be developed will be DVB Set topx box (with Add on card), PVR, and the like. The Device will also logically evolve into a IP Set Top Box over a period of time

Lets get this thing started!! I already downloaded the cross compilers/toolchains and the like and amworking on a ppc port of the required application software...cmon...wake up people!!
