Project Summary
Browse the complete wikipedia content stored on a central server, browse stored books in pdf format or surf whenever you have a working account.When our local library finished indexing their books (in some months) I will try to build a interface where everyone can browse the books and find out at with shelves they are exactly.
I will try to test this in real life for a while and change it according to results.
I would also do general Gentoo and application development, add to the Documentation and provide remote access to the machine for other developers. Local access by arrangement. QA checking, as far as the hardware has free resources. Might be showing it at certain community events, publish articles etc.

It should be possible to accelerate some parts of the code with a FPGA, like HTML-Rendering and similar.
Also I will add to existing community projects like the Kernel Accelerator Device (KAD) and others.
A graphics card will be needed (onboard or via the PCI-slot) for the display which is planned.
