Touchscreen User Interface with Host Offloadin category Applications & Software

Project Summary
Intelligent Display Unit (IDU) implemented on EFIKA single board.The goal is to offload GUI presentation and interaction completely into an Efika single board solution. Interaction with the host will be limited to sending GUI templates to the Efika and receiving GUI data (for instance form data) for processing through the host application. In comparison to conventional thin client solutions we expect high savings on bandwidth to/from the IDU suitable for centralized terminal based high volume processing (flight check-in, security check-in/check-out etc.)
- initially 3270/5250 style terminal transaction model
- interface to supported touchscreen
- gui functionality built on W3C tech: DOM+SVG with javascript
- to be built on Mozilla applicaton base
