Project Summary
This project aims to develop the EFIKA into a compact high through-put, high availibility dedicated layer 4 switch, leveraging the Linux Virtual Server open-source project.I am the senior systems engineer for an ISP and have access to a development server-farm to benchmark this against.
Performance through-put will be tweaked & tested on the load-balancing of an existing development server-farm providing mail (postfix) & web services (apache httpd).
A second EFIKA would act as a fail-over.
