Project Summary
The Efika platform would be used as ultrasonographic (video/picture) capture and a printing station. Ultrasonograph would be connected to a video card with a capture feature. Pictures could be printed on USB laser printer. Examination videos and pictures would be stored on hard drive for a later review. The whole solution would be based on Linux system and custom application would be developed with Mono.Instead of buying an expensive USG device with thermal printing capability or stand alone thermal printer, Efika based solution could be used, hence, it would lead to cost reduction.
