I'm trying to play OpenTTD on Xorg-6.8.2-r1, KDE 3.4.1, and SDL 1.2.8-r1 on Gentoo 2005.0. When I try to start OpenTTD (from Konsole), it causes X to dump and restart. Here is what I get from my .xsession-errors:
Code:
X Error: BadWindow (invalid Window parameter) 3
Major opcode: 20
Minor opcode: 0
Resource id: 0x1a00007
X Error: BadWindow (invalid Window parameter) 3

It didn't throw any errors to my xorg.0.log or my dmesg.

Here is the output of my sdl-config:
Code:
pegasos aaron # sdl-config --prefix --version --cflags --libs
/usr
1.2.8
-I/usr/include/SDL -D_REENTRANT
-L/usr/lib -Wl,-rpath,/usr/lib -lSDL -lpthread
Also, when I look at the video output drivers in MPlayer, I don't have an SDL option. I do have an SDL option in the audio drivers. Changing kernels did not help. Trying for XFCE did not help.

I emerged a couple other SDL games and they work, but they were lightweight games.

Any ideas would be appreciated.
