Hi

I saw on OSNEWS a post about puppy LINUX.
http://www.desktoplinux.com/articles/AT7455536044.html

Puppy loads completely into memory by default and runs from there.

They claim it runs fast even small Pentium 2 or Via systems with 400 Mhz and 128 MB of RAM.

Did someone try this out?
Would this be a good Linux for EFIKA?

Cheers
Gunnar

EDIT:
Seems I misposted this on the wrong section.
Can someone be so kidn and move the post please?

Heh, I just noticed that it uses JWM as its windowmanager. It's indeed very light.

And I used to hang out with the guy who developed it, he's an old TI calculator assembly developer. Good, efficient stuff :)

I'm interested in its "Peaceful Coexistence" concept, it's nothing really new, but it looks well-implemented.
