i downloaded the PPC version of Pistachio, the binary release. The pingpong image goes booting the kernel and then nothing. I guess the usb keyboard is not detected and user input is expected.

@bbrv: Did you get further using a later source release from cvs?

We have not, but we are certainly willing to do what we can to assist any one that wants to try.

We were unsuccessful in contacting the leaders of the project through the University in Kaiserslautern.
