No, it's a bugfix release for packages. If you use the original release, you need to download over 300M of updates after installation. With this bugfix release, all you need to download is under 1M (last time I checked...).

Maybe in 6.06.2.

I am still downloading the CD's so I can make friendly kernels for you guys. Now that a fixed mkvmlinuz hit the Debian testing tree it can be rolled into Ubuntu, and the kernels can be build for the next CD (or maybe they will refresh 6.06.1 for us, it hasn't been decided yet)

We have good support from the Ubuntu team but we are working on a lot more than just a vmlinuz kernel for the installer CD.
