So... did anything change with the RoHS compliance requirement starting today?
Will all Pegasos II ship with the cheaper & better 7448 @ 1 GHz now?

Hi tarbos, no 7448 yet. We will continue to ship the 7447. Pegasos boards were produced just this past week and we have had orders today. Things continue to march along.

FYI, we are still *marching* but the pace is about to pick up...;-)

You know, alot of the public does NOT know this. It would be nice if the community was aware there are Pegasos units available. Some sort of press release to this effect might be nice..

Hi magnetic, we could say this about last week:

General Dynamics buys more Open Desktop Workstations!

...or:

Genesi to ship the Pegasos to RedHat!

...or:

Genesi to Suppy National Open Source Applications Center!

...we will let you know this month which country.

Some things do not warrant an announcement. Other things do, and we usually jump up and down when something is really important. Some times we have to wait to say things until others agree to what we want to say.

In the meanwhile, there is plenty of activity and plenty of challenges. It is life and that is normal! We are here. We are busy. We are making progress.

R&B :-D

Well thats fantastic for you guys congrats. Sounds good.

However, I was not refering to Genesi corporate sales, I've come across users who wanted a peg but didnt think any where available as there is no press releases since maybe over a year that they are available through the store. I'm just saying its good to remind people.

Indeed it appears that quite a few people seems to think that the Pegasos has been terminated and won't be produced anymore ...
