Seeing as not much activity can be seen in these forums for the past couple days i'll help it along a bit.

The purpose of this topic is just really to get some discussion going and perhaps give an insight into how the other community members are getting along with their games.

This is some art i just drew up, the early concept ive started running with seems to be really fun. Just need some suggestions as to where i should take it from what ive got

Here's the title screen concept for i guess what will be dubbed "Pencil Drawn".

it'll be a side scroller shoot em up. Im still trying to work out some ideas for weapons/levels. But yes all the art will be hand drawn, ergo the "Pencil Drawn" title.

But still can anyone else post some art....

Someone ordered some game art.

Image

This is just a small WIP and a really small part of the first stage of my sidescroller. There is no postprocessing whatsoever and it looks very dull atm. But trust me : It will not look like this once ingame :D

Both images are nice and represent different skills...:)

You two are about as far away from each other in other ways - Finland & Australia!

looks nice (your art) , i just need to ask gunnar some questions about the length of the first level.... (gameplay-wise).

I have another game design on the back-burner as well, but to do that i need to be a big more aquainted with rigging characters (for all the animations) and lighting in blender3d.
