I asked this same question in the forums a while ago, but got useful
information. I'll try again here in the mailing list.

So, Will there ever be support for two gigabytes of memory in
Pegasos-II? I have two separate identical Kingston 1Gb REG ECC DDR333
modules. If either one is plugged into either of the motherboard slots,
I have no problems at all, actually my uptime right now is 57 days.

If I install both modules, not Linux nor Morphos will boot. Limiting
usable memory in Linux to 1Gb will not help (chrash at USB detection),
my kernel is compiled with HIGHMEM=yes (if it wasn't I wouldn't be
getting the 1Gb I have enabled now, would I?).

Ah, must have missed that.

Ok. Thanks for letting us know about the success with those memory modules.

This is a known problem, and bplan is working on fixing this in a next OF
upgrade. I can't give a specific deadline for it yet though.

Friendly,
