 Post subject: Gentoo on Peg1?

hi,

has anybody managed to get a working Gentoo system on Peg1? The kernel boots, but formatting a partition results in a hanging system.

How much memory do you got?

try disabling dma if it's more than 256Mb or use the mem=256 bootoption
