Be a little patient - Genesi is doing a HUGE favour for us, so the least we could do is wait.

Me too, can't wait!

I'd just like to say thanks so so much for these developer programmes, and approving my project. Im looking forward to playing with the EFIKA! :)

One quick question, I'm in New Zealand and was curious what shipping method will you use? It must be quite costly to ship here so if you do need any help with the shipping cost please let me know.

Thanks, Steve.

Don't worry all shipping costs are covered.

For this, we all owe a big word of...

THANKS!

...to Freescale. :D

When the Program really starts rolling you can say thank you by doing a good job!

R&B :)

So the order I just did for an Efika board on Freescale's website... are they serious or teasing me when they say "available" and will ship in 1-2 days? I guess I'll find out next week.

Is there a 5200B Linux install available yet, or better yet an Efika version? All I've found so far is 2.6.16.1 from kernel.org and some patches that have been submitted but not accepted yet. For all I know it comes on a CD with the Efika, but other than a board I don't know what I'm (eventually) going to get.

I'm definitely hopeful it'll show up someday and be fun to play with.

How does mine look? Is this the type of style you are going for, or should I go more in-depth and less informal?

But if your project is still "Waiting" after others before and after have been approved... Just want to make sure my spam filters haven't rejected some question. Is the next best method for getting a board to order one through Freescale? Don't want even 10 to begin with.

Hi, the Freescale orders through DevToolDIrect will ship at the same time.

Please post more information about your Project if you are still "waiting."

Thanks!

R&B :)

Thanks for the reply. I'd added detail based along the lines of what I was seeing in already approved projects but have added yet some more. Since the concept is based on a graphical proramming capability a picture could be worth a thousand words... :)
