Hi all.

Can anyone point me in the right direction with regard to programming the GPIO's and SPI's of the MPC5200B as used in the EFIKA.

The real question I'm asking is:
Are there drivers for these under Linux or should I implement these myself?

There is plenty of reference material on programming SPI units on the internet (Google <3 U)

Since both are used for very specific tasks (more than a generic bus/device thing like PCI), I am not sure if there is any useful code in the Linux kernel you can reference.

Yeah, I found these sites on the net, and in the mean time I've cooked up some code I'll test when I have an EFIKA.

The thing is, I thought there would be a generic driver for these, and there is, just not in the open (found a reference on someones' resume).

I'll see if I can implement a generic (low level) driver to make it easier to program these peripherals.
