Hi all.

Having several projects in the EFIKA developer program, but no PowerPC hardware yet, I thought it would be a good idea to use a cross development environment on my x86 based dev-machines.
I wanted to write a little tutorial how to do it, but then I came across this link:
http://www-128.ibm.com/developerworks/l ... ation.html

It gives a short overview of what is needed (I'm using Qemu) and gives a little introduction how to get it up and running.

I'm using this method successfully under Gentoo, maybe it can be usefull to someone else too.
If there is need for a more expanded tutorial, with the use of GDB debugging etc. I'd be willing to write it, just let me know.

Best regards,
Johan
