Hi

Out of curiosity, is anyone working on a driver to support Pegasos II's onboard AGP controller (a Marvell one, afaict) in Linux?

If not, would it be possible to get the chip's datasheet? I might be interested in hacking something on my (very limited) spare time...

What do you mean? The AGP slot on Pegasos 2 is supported since day one in all OS's (no special controller needed for AGP 1x).

My bad, I thought the slot could do more than 1x.

Anyway, it's not supported by the agpgart layer in linux (and one has to set BusType "PCI" in X config to get dri accel support), but i suppose it's not worth it if it can only do 1x.

Nevermind then.

The AGP-port on the Pegasos is only a PCI-AGP converter.
There is no AGP-controller in the Marvell northbridge.

The Pegasos2 does twice the transfer speed of the ArticiaS AGP 2x controller though! ;-)
