Hi

I have just installed osx 10.2 with MOLK (my dvd is broken so I can't install 10.4:().

If I adjust the volume with the volume controller , I can hear the usual blop. But every sound app , itunes quiktime, whatever, does'nt work.

Any hints ?

Strange...
Only checked sound with the volume-control, but as this worked
I imagined that sound works in general...
Did you set the sound to mol-audio from within the osx-sound-preferences?
Upgrade will be probably be finished soon, maybe this will fix your probs...

cheers

There is no other alternative then mac-on-linux audio in sound prefs. It seems that audio playback work for about 2 secs, then it stops.

The "new" version wasn't supposed to be released in tis state.
It was only a misunderstanding between Gunne & me...

Yep, me again!

To fix the sound-prob add this after the "swapon"-line in start-misc:

sleep 5
alsactl restore

This is at least true with the new testing-version, didn't test it
with the xmas-05 release...
I'll include the fix in the next "official" molk-0.6...

frostwork, do you submit these to Samuel Rydh?

We hope to have him at the next PUSH. He was with us at CES in 2003 (on right):

Felix Schwarz (left) and Nicholas Blachford (center) are also pictured (and half of Thierry Velasco).
