We are pleased to announce that CRUX-ARM 3.0 has been released.
This release marks the beginning of official support for hardfp devices,
so please read carefully our Release Notes and Changelog for more
information for updating these devices from an older version.

We've built an official release optimized for EfikaMX SmartTop and also improved ports for this device.

All packages are compiled with these gcc flags: '-O2 -pipe -mfloat-abi=hard -march=armv7-a -mfpu=vfpv3-d16'.
The kernel provided is 2.6.31.14.27-efikamx_20130723 from Genesi github with our custom config file.

Hi,
Trying to follow the howto at this link http://crux-arm.nu/SupportedDevices/EfikaMX-SmartTop.
It should work also on my SamrtBook I suppose .... :)

I got "file not found" when I try to download uImage-2.6.31.14.27-efikamx_20130723 ,
but I found it in http://crux-arm.nu/files/devices/efikamx/current-hardfp

Should I use this one?

Hello Stan,

thank you for the feedback, we forgot to update the link and it was pointing to the older version where the newer files don't exist.

We haven't tested it on the Smartbook, but at least, the release should work without problems, but not sure about the kernel we are proving for the Smarttop (customized config file can be found at our development section on gitweb [1])

Links are updated and all comments are welcome (or patches to improve the kernel config file if there is something missing for the Smartbook).
