Hello,

This is for those, who are looking for FreeBSD on Pegasos. I sent an e-mail to the freebsd-ppc mailinglist, but I got a disappointing answer. See the thread at http://lists.freebsd.org/pipermail/free ... 01347.html

BSD is really important but we still do not have a port. I hope bbrv will help here. If the first derivate flies on a Peg the other will follow shortly but a start has to be made. Maybe the former incompleted project can be restarted to fill the last gap of important OS running on Peg.

I would be very glad to see FreeBSD on Pegasos, as I use Linux on my workstations, and contributed much more to Linux with testing and bugfixes, but my "work" OS is FreeBSD, as sysadmin.
