Just ordered a MX Smarttop and see it has been shipped the same day it was ordered, which was nice and fast.

Does the USB 2 port on the mx smarttop also support the 1.1 standard and what is the max current that each port can supply? I know the usb standard specification is 500 ma per port, but I am looking for what the two USB ports and the supplied power supply can handle.

Would be nice to get some pictures of the bottom and top of the board on the web site, and also a little more detailed information like the beagle board manual has.

Thanks
Carl

The USB ports work at all speeds and legacy 1.1 devices that need transaction translators will operate fine. You should be able to draw up to the maximum allowed by the USB specification.

Thanks for the reply, starting to download data sheets now to understand the MX Smarttop better, it sure looks like good value for the money. After I get through my reading I am sure I will have more questions.
