CRUX (x86 and x86_64) was released a few days ago.
[ANN] CRUX 2.7 released:
http://lists.crux.nu/pipermail/crux/201 ... 09284.html

well, if somebody is still interested in CRUX PPC... as i feel i'm losing interest too...
A first CRUX PPC 2.7 test iso is going on the way, at least the ppc/core repository is quite ready[1].
glibc-2.12.1+20100817.patch, gcc-4.5.2-20100930 and binutils-2.20.51-20101006 .
libgmp-5.0.1, libmpfr-3.0.0-p4, libmpc-0.8.2, ppl-0.11 and cloog-ppl-0.15.10 .
These trunk toolchain components (gcc and binutils) are needed to fix a static linking (serious) issue on our architecture.

Important changes:
IBM legacy R6K 604e/604ev/604r support removed (i don't have a machine to test our ISO).

Thanks, acrux! Will check it out over the weekend.

And I'm not sure what you mean by 'if somebody is still interested', as this CRUX-powered efika here saw its first downtime today in more than half a year - I had to power it off for maintenance, as the PSU was clogged with dust bunnies and had started making disturbing noises. But now it's an ultra-silent, little mean machine again. It has been my ultra-reliable 24/7 linux box, serving as a all-things linux sandbox. Heck, almost every single byte that constitutes my new efikaMX's setup here has passed through the old trusty CRUX-wielding ppc. So this user is not going anywhere anytime soon (well, in loyalty; otherwise I'll be moving geographically very soon).

It's available our first release candidate for 32bit.
Important changes are about IBM legacy RS6K 604e/604ev/604r. The support is officially removed as we do not have anymore a machine to test our ISO.
